Reducing the
sources of contaminants that may trigger
adverse health reactions is an important
part of keeping indoor air clean.
Allergies and asthma are health conditions that
cleaning alone cannot cure. But cleaning the air conditioning and heating
system will remove allergens like dust
and mold from the air distribution system
serving the indoor environment.

| Not every
home needs air duct cleaning. An
inspection is necessary to say for
sure. If cleaning is prescribed,
DUCTBUSTERS® will define a
course of restorative maintenance based
on the design and manufacturer of
of the ventilation system and the level
of contamination it harbors. We
appreciate being invited into your home
to perform a complimentary system
inspection. |

YOUR HEATING & AIR
CONDITIONING SYSTEM
|
| The
most expensive mechanical
equipment in your home is the
heating and air conditioning
system. Replacing the system
costs thousands of
dollars and endless aggravation.
A wise investment in
cleaning and preventative
maintenance may extend the life
of your equipment by years.
A heating and air conditioning
system basically consists of two
sections: the air handling unit
or furnace (see
red section below) and the
ductwork (see
blue section below).
The air handler houses the
mechanical parts that heat or
cool the air, and contains the
fan and motor that push air
through the second
section-ductwork. Ducts twist
and turn throughout your
home, behind walls, under floors
and in attic and crawl spaces.
Unless the air handling unit has
been recently replaced or
serviced, the entire heating and
air conditioning system should be
cleaned. Some companies offer a
low cost "duct
cleaning" that doesn't
include the air handling unit and
mechanical components. Others
claim to clean the unit but
really don't. The air
handling unit is one of the
primary collection points for mold.
Always insist the unit be
thoroughly be cleaned.

| It's
time to Clean the Air you Breathe
Indoor air pollution is a serious
health hazard affecting millions of
Americans. Some researchers claim it
contributes to more than half of all
illnesses. Common indoor household
pollutants include dust, mold,
pollen, insect remains and odors.
There are a surprising number of
contaminant sources in the indoor
environment. Air conditioning and heating
systems are notorious collection
points for airborne pollutants like dust and
mold spores. The moist, temperate
environment is an ideal habitat
for fungi and bacteria to bloom.
Heating and air conditioning systems can
be cleaned. But doing the job requires
the right combination of patented
methods, superior technology, and
attention to the fine
workmanship-qualities that are a
DUCTBUSTERS® hallmark.

| Nobody
Cleans Cleaner Than DUCTBUSTERS®
There's only one way to thoroughly
clean air conditioning and heating
systems. EPA
research says that really
cleaning a ventilation system takes 6
to 8 hours using sophisticated tools
and equipment. Other studies show that
duct cleaners who only spend an hour or
two in the home leave a lot of
contaminants behind.
At DUCTBUSTERS® we just don't
clean air ducts. We restore heating
and air conditioning systems to peak
cleanliness. That includes all mechanical
equipment and ductwork. Our proprietary
methods remove the mold growth and dust
accumulations that plug critical system
components. After we take out the dirt,
DUCTBUSTERS® often resurfaces
air conditioning and heating units with
our patented foil lining process.
Nobody cleans
cleaner than DUCTBUSTERS®.
Our cleaning procedures are in full
compliance with industry standards from
the National Air Duct Cleaners
Association (NADCA). We follow EPA's
duct cleaning consumer checklist
to the letter. Our trained technicians
are bright, well groomed and attentive.
They will respect your home and
belongings-you never have to clean up
after a DUCTBUSTERS® crew!

inspection equipment. Powerful HEPA
filtered vacuums allow us to remove dust
particles and biological debris without
spreading them around your home. A wide
assortment of brushes, compressed air
guns and other specialized
cleaning tools go out on every job.
Many
air conditioning and heating systems
harbor mold and bacteria. In cases where
mold has impregnated porous surfaces like
fiberglass, we remove and replace the
material or apply our patented foil
lining technology. DUCTBUSTERS®
is specially trained in the application
of EPA-registered biocides. However, as
an environmentally conscious company,
we limit our use of chemicals.
